I have added some awesome books to my "higher learning" collection. These books are great for beginners, and the experienced, and for all people who want to learn more on the subject.

The first one I will tell you about is "Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft", obviously, by Raymond Buckland. This book is perfect for anyone interested in the Craft. "Ray Buckland teaches the history, practice, composition, formulae, the mechanics of magick, herbology, divination... in short, each and every aspect of the practice of Wicca. And he doesn't just present one tradition. He takes on a nonsectarian approach, and he also shows how you can structure the religion to suit your paticular needs." It is also a workbook, presented in the form of lessons! Such a book was long overdue!

Raymond Buckland is a British-born author of numerous best selling books on Practical Magick, such as Practical Color Magick, and Practical Candleburning Rituals. He is regarded as one of the leading authorities on Witchcraft, voodoo, and the supernatural. Price: $16.95 (US)

The other book I want to tell you about, is called "Witchcraft-Theory and Practice" by Ly De Angeles. This was my first Witchcraft book. I was looking through similar titles on the book shelf at Walden's Book Store in the mall one day, and for some reason, this book just caught my eye, so I picked it up, read the back cover, and immediately had to buy it! It's a comprehensive manual that sets forth the tenets of Witchcraft, and explains why and how magick works. It includes tried and true methods for developing the magickal will, along with religious training, ritual observances, and spellcrafting techniques.

Ly De Angeles has been an initiated High Priestess for over thirty years. An outspoken and public witch, Ms. de Angeles is also the author of The Way of the Goddess, and The Way of Merlin, both published in Great Britain. Price:$12.95 (US)
