The Mother of Mothers,
With sisters and brothers, and significant others,
Born by immaculate conception,
Creating life to it's absolute perfection,
She has stood the test of time, so far,
Accompanied by the Sun, her loving star,
The moon tugs on her tides and pulls life from her bones,
And has helped her along this long, winding road,
She gives life to everything we see,
A flower, a field, a mountain, a tree,
Growing, nurturing, giving life in every way,
Never ceasing to give love, night or day,
Her only need being to be loved in return,
Which is something we all need to learn,
We humans take her generosity for granted,
Within her womb, the seeds, we have planted,
She gives, we take. She loves, we hate.
Return the love before it's too late,
Groom her, love her, show her you care,
Take her not for granted, for you breathe her air,
What she gives, she may also take away,
You never know, this could be her last day...
She loves you- love her back.
Her death isn't just a rumor, but a fact.

Thanks Tatjana. I picture Mother Earth as a pregnant woman... Always giving birth to new beginnings... Honestly, she isn't much different than a human mother, in my eyes. Always giving, expecting nothing in return, and we are wearing her down, making her age quickly these days... Maybe her birthing days are coming to an end, and maybe she has a very long time left, but immortality seems to be her power.
